Last updated: May 26, 2026
Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of onlinecybertools.com, including browser tools, API endpoints, network tools, security utilities, and automation. It is designed to keep the service useful for legitimate technical work while reducing abuse risk.
Authorized Use Only
You may use security, network, lookup, scanning, proxy, OSINT, and diagnostic tools only against systems, domains, IP addresses, accounts, files, and data that you own, administer, or have explicit permission to test. If you are not sure whether you have permission, do not use the tool.
Allowed Uses
- Defensive security testing on systems you own or are authorized to assess.
- Network troubleshooting, DNS diagnostics, SSL review, and operational checks for authorized assets.
- Education, labs, capture-the-flag environments, and classroom exercises using permitted targets.
- Developer workflows such as encoding, decoding, hashing, formatting, validation, and conversion.
- Low-volume automation that respects rate limits and does not disrupt the service.
Prohibited Uses
- Unauthorized scanning, probing, enumeration, exploitation, credential attacks, or vulnerability testing.
- Denial-of-service activity, stress testing, traffic amplification, resource exhaustion, or service disruption.
- Malware delivery, command-and-control activity, phishing, spam, fraud, impersonation, or social engineering.
- Bypassing rate limits, CAPTCHA checks, temporary bans, security rules, or access controls.
- Using tool results to harm, harass, stalk, dox, surveil, or discriminate against people.
- Submitting data you do not have the right to process or disclose.
- Reselling, mirroring, scraping, or bulk redistributing the service without permission.
Sensitive Data
Do not submit passwords, private keys, secrets, authentication tokens, regulated personal data, confidential business data, or third-party data unless the tool is appropriate for that use and you accept the risk. Prefer browser-only tools for sensitive local transformations when possible.
Automation And Rate Limits
Automated use must stay within published or enforced rate limits and must not degrade service reliability. We may throttle, challenge, block, or ban requests that appear abusive, risky, excessive, or inconsistent with this policy.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected misuse, preserve security records, block traffic, revoke API access, report abuse, cooperate with lawful requests, or take other steps needed to protect the service, users, infrastructure, and third parties.
Reporting Abuse
