Text Joiner combines lines, words, or list items into one output using customizable separators and formatting options. It is designed for quick data reshaping: paste one item per line, choose the separator or output format, and copy the joined result.
Common use cases:
- Combine lists into comma-separated values (CSV)
- Join text lines with custom delimiters
- Convert text lists to JSON arrays
- Create HTML lists from text elements
- Format data for SQL queries or API calls
- Merge files or clipboard content
- Create numbered or bulleted lists
- Clean and deduplicate text collections
Output formats:
- Plain text: Simple separator-based joining for command lines, config values, and notes.
- CSV: Comma-separated values with quoting rules based on RFC 4180.
- JSON array: A valid array representation for APIs and scripts, aligned with RFC 8259.
- HTML list: Unordered list markup with
<ul>and<li>elements. - XML: Well-formed XML-style item elements for simple interchange.
- Numbered, bulleted, quoted, and SQL values: Formatting shortcuts for common editing tasks.
Implementation note: Separator joining follows the same basic idea as ECMAScript Array.prototype.join: items are converted to text and concatenated with the selected separator. Always review generated SQL or markup before using it in production, because this tool formats text but does not validate business rules or database schemas.
